Spencer James
Spencer L. James is a Professor in the School of Family Life at Brigham Young University, where he also coordinates the Africana Studies program at the Kennedy Center and serves as a Fellow at both the Wheatley and Ballard Centers. His ongoing work explores the links between family dynamics and child well-being, especially in sub-Saharan Africa, and aims to develop internationally comparable measures of family well-being. He also teaches courses on research methods, statistics, and global family patterns.
