This animated biopic follows Spanish filmmaker Luis Buñuel as he shoots Land Without Bread. The film offers an insider’s view of Buñuel as a Surrealist filmmaker, including his tendency to question reality, here by shooting a “documentary” that often strays from the truth. The feature includes clips from the original film, including some scenes that contain animal cruelty.
